Friday, 17:00. Time to wrap the week — the way we always do, in three columns.

Done: the report your boss asked for on Tuesday (sent Wednesday, 9:12am, before the follow-up existed). The dentist, rebooked and attended. The budget review you were dreading — twenty minutes, mostly painless.

Carried: one phone call. It moves to Monday, first slot, already on the calendar with the number attached. Carried is not failed. Carried is scheduled.

Dropped: the Thursday meeting that should have been an email. It has been… handled.
